Journal #20 -I call on you birds!

-Unfortunately I thought speaking about species of birds would be more original but after checking out a few random blogs, turns out they were on everyone’s mind. So I thought about talking about dolphins, then “ironically” the next blog I opened talked about dolphins. So here I am with birds…
- side note

Birds are: they’re common, widespread, powerful, intimidating, and can fly. This is perhaps why so many other bloggers have chosen this specie to be able to speak with. I originally thought that birds could help carry your stuff or possibly carry a human by uniting, but why stop there. Birds with more aggressive natures such as eagles, falcon, and vultures and be utilized to take down foes, or to simply intimidate them. Forget a book at home; tell your fellow feathered friend to fetch it for you. Thinking on global terms with the birds on our side I could convince them to help out with the ecological problems, they care nature too right. My idea would be for the birds to dig holes and plant more trees and incite more oxygen. Plus we they could help fisherman catch fish, or simply keep an eye on your unprotected gear. Similar how humans have their essential phones on them, in the future it could work to combine bird and human life, little helpers, not slaves.

Journal #8 –JUST DO IT

The quote is short, but it’s got sort of a flare to it, it’s “JUST DO IT”- Nike. Since my youth I grew up with the ideal of “just wing it” –Gus, I would always wait till there was 6 minutes until school started just so I could dash over there from my house for the excitement. In school the same, purposely procrastinate in order to see my true abilities under pressure. So when Nike’s quote entered my world around freshman year I quickly followed. Something about the underlying manhood draws me in, then how it suits any occasion. On a run a hill appears and as you’re running up that beauty you get tired, so tired. Then you push and push till, you’ve just done it. The quote simply feels right, even better one clutch’s there fist and yells it at any challenger.
If it hasn’t been obvious the quote reveals an ironic “Manhood strength” image when compared to my normally jolly self. Sure I love fooling around, but you just got to go for it. Don’t wait, it’s never to late, no excuses, live it up! All these quotes from Nike evoke power, in anyone. The only quote ever to surpass just do it, is Nike’s advanced version: “Every Damn day, Just do it”

Journal # 13 -Letter for future roomie

Hey there future roomie
So according to the recent letter I received in the mail, you’re apparently going to be my future roommate. Well lucky for you ha-ha; Sorry, I’m normally not this conceited. Even though as of right now I seem a bit too formal and casual don’t worry, I won’t be some uptight dude who tells you to make your side of the room and etcetera. No, since we haven’t even meet face to face I thought it be better to just ditch the whole “breaking the ice stage” I jump straight to it.
As for my whole character bio and what not in short I can tell you that I’m honest, considering, amiable, sanguine, good-looking, and a gamer. Of course there’s much more to that but I wouldn’t want to over myself.  I grew up in Chula Vista CA, very quaint town with a chill atmosphere. Growing up I developed a silly carefree life, with some discreet underlying man-competitive personality.  But trust me, I’ll elaborate tons more with some facetious anecdotes once we’ve settled. Middle school flew by, but not until High school was that more exciting things took place. There I joined clubs, AP classes, and sports. As of right now I’ve done 3 years of Cross Country, with some experience in both Swim and Track and Field, but don’t worry I’m not some leather jacket jock, even more interesting stories reside here.
It’s definitely in a nut shell but any one of my close friends could see that summery and articulate ”yep, sounds about right”. Well that’s it for now but ok one last thing, I hope you enjoy video games cause I can tell you that my Nintendo Wii and Ps3 are going to tag along on my college experience ha-ha.

Till later
-Super awesome __(name)__ bro

Journal #3 -Enlgish power

The greatest weapon given to me from school has been my new profound academic vocabulary. My diction has grown to such a degree since freshmen year that it is nearly possible for me turn any essay, into a pedantic one. Utilizing in school is nice, but speaking the same outside of school is impressive. Countless times I have spoken with adults and officials who look down on me, constantly trivializing me with their condescending tones. In return I also talk the talk and sound academic.
It’s more of a minor self-goal but I’m encouraging adults to understand that our generation is not full of texting, Facebook, pot-smoking teenagers, and other frivolous accusations. Beyond that goal it always feels enthralling to assert such mesmerizing diction for any purpose. Then there’s the whole intellectual image that’s always invigorating to construct.

Journal #2 –Competition >=^J

Competition? All my life it has been the best from of persuasion of my entire life, a force that surpasses peer pressure and the status quo. Since childhood I can recall competing with a girl named Sofia A., she was a worthy foe. The two of us almost never declared our little argument, but one could tell that there was one when we would raise our hands faster than a western shootout. Then in sixth grade we were finally in different classes, also far ahead and other student in school, but our competition didn’t end. You see we would have “class rotation” where we would stick with the same students, just different teachers, when this occurred we would enter the opposite class and see each other’s 100%, A+, etc. on the wall.  A truly indirect form of competition. The gist of it though is that I would have never had otherwise shot for those perfect scores to such an extreme degree if it weren’t for her.
What’s even better though is that after elementary I tried toning my abilities down a bit and relaxing, mainly because Sofia went to a different town (which I consider a self-proclaimed victory). The “normal” flow of things though felt to slow, so instead I kept my advanced academic skills kept going forward. Competition is what made me want to excel at school. Then in High School New advanced classes and the joining of sports revealed new “competitors,” I had to accept the challenge.
So yes I think competition is great, only if it’s the friendly type though. Such as how in Middle School some social’s told me to knock of talking with some girl or they would “deal with me”. I gladly ended  that battle, even though I wasn’t trying to win but was…

Journal #18 -Changes

I mean no offense to our beloved Castle Park High school, but two ideas that I would change to benefit everyone would be to stop the special ED "recycling program" and our trash issue. In short I deem it wrong for our school to exploit them in order to raise funds, when other students could be doing the same task for community service. This way Trojans will both clean up the trash in our school and earn some hours for graduation.
Every day in at least one of my classes I see one of the special ED students walk in and politely ask if he or she can take the bottles and cans away, but why? I understand that the money they raise goes to dances for their best buddies club, and that it is likely that such task is preparing them for their future job as janitor or alike, but us, the students, could do tasks and raise the money for dances. I wouldn't make it mandatory for my fellow Trojans like the school has for the special ED, but I would convince our school's power to offer community service to do so. In truth, the students who plan on going to college and Universities need the community service hours; however, the special ED don't. Before school ends and life hits them, they should be free or at least trying to catch up the rest of us.
I never thought that the trash seen on our campus would ever increase, but it has. I'm not certain if it's because of the new freshman class or if all of our students have become lazy. Still, why put away till next week (or months in our case) for what can be done today. Even though budget cuts have affected our school I suggest we gather some of that money and offer it as a bribe to the students to clean up trash. With the cash we could hire some sort of recreational event for the students in exchange for assistance of preventing more trash lying around everywhere.
I admit that there are a few more problems residing in our school, but most of them have become insignificant when considering that our school has ditched the “program improvement” title, as well as the Best CAHSEE scores in the district. Before we challenge those upsets we must and should first tackle the Special ED and trash ordeal.
